Resolved Question: Integrating into Coast Guard Active Duty from Coast Guard Reserve?

Im 18yrs old and going to boot camp this tuesday (May 11th) for CG Reserve. I wanted to go active but I couldn't because of the CG being full. My recruiter told me that after I graduate boot camp I will drill in Jacksonville, FL for a year and then I will be going to Petaluma, CA for *ET* A school. After the A school and if I perform really well throughout everything will I have a chance at integrating into Active Duty? , because honestly I dont care where they send me as long as I get to be Active because ever since I was 14 and watched my brother graduate at Cape May ive always wanted to join.
