Resolved Question: what does this mean it said delivered status in california the same day it was accepted in california.?

so i had a friend send me some camping gear from california and it said delivered the same day it was accepted, but the item was suppose to be shipped to new york. it said expected date is july 21 but it was sent out the 19 and delivered the 19th??can anyone help me out here on what this mean? and what i should do?
